Core Commitments

Word

What is truth? It's one of the greatest questions of humanity.

We are a community of people who are committed to magnifying the supremacy of God by submitting every part of life to the sole and final authority of the Word through the faithful and systematic teaching of Scripture.

Psalm 19:7-11; John 17:17; 1 Timothy 4:1-2

Mercy

Do people really care anymore?

We are a community of people committed to demonstrating the love of God by showing mercy, hope and reconciliation to all people.

Micah 6:8; Matthew 5:16; 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

Relational Discipleship

Nobody was created to be a lone-ranger.

We are a community of people committed to living transparent and authentic lives while stimulating each other to love and good works through the transformational power of the Holy Spirit. We will do so by prayer, God-centered preaching, observing baptism and the Lord's Supper, giving our time and resources and gathering for worship and fellowship.

Acts 2:42; 1 Timothy 2:1-6; Hebrews 10:24-25

Gospel Transformation

Is the Bible is relevant for contemporary life?

We are a community of people committed to applying the liberating and binding truths of the Gospel to every area of life.

Romans 1:16-17; 2 Corinthians 3:17-18; Galatians 5:1, 13

Worship

Everyone worships something, but only God is worthy of worship.

We are a community of people who are committed to making Christ uppermost in the affections of all people by calling them to worship God with every part of their being.

John 4:24; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Ecclesiastes 2:25

We are a community of people committed to building personal relationships with all people, domestic and foreign, so that they might glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

Psalm 96-97:1; Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 15:9

Missions

Most people worship everything but God.
