Meet our Guest Speaker this Week

Dr. Mark DeVine

Dr. DeVine grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Gloriously converted from an early life of drugs, Mark has served as a pastor in Indiana, South Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, and Alabama, and also as a missionary to Bangkok, Thailand.

Along with numerous theological writings (e.g., Shalom Yesterday, Today, and Forever ),  Dr. DeVine has also written on the intersection of faith, work, culture, and politics for the national online magazines, The American Spectator, American Thinker, and The Federalist.

Presently, Dr. DeVine teaches historical theology and doctrine in Birmingham, Alabama, where he has been for the last fourteen years. Dr. DeVine will be ministering the Word to us on Reformation Sunday (Oct 30).
